restaurant’s name ‘AVATAR’.

AVATAR is different as an Indian and Nepalese restaurant in Market Harborough, AVATAR restaurant present refined Indian 8- Nepalese food of today from diverse regions created by me and my team displayed with style. The menu remains true to classic Indian & Nepalese recipes.

As a fine (fining restaurant, my team and I strive to run Avatar as an establishment which offers authentically prepared quality Indian & Nepalese cooking using local produce with just a modicum of a twist We also offer a service which is at one friendly and highly efficient with my training and experience forged as a chef in some of the luxury hotel group the Taj and Oberoi which includes many locations across India & Nepal, along with being chef in some of London’s most prestigious Indian restaurants. By designing at the very outset, a menu based wholly on modern Indian and Nepalese dishes myself placed finally at the fore from of the movement to take Indian & Nepalese cuisine ‘beyond authenticity’. With an emphasis on refined yet creative Indian & Nepalese cuisine, the menu incorporates both traditional classic favourites and original new dishes that apply eastern flavours with western twist l have been very fortunate to not only twist. India’s & Nepal’s aromatic herbs, spices and other ingredients in my restaurant’s kitchen today, I have mastered their flavours both in the traditional and contemporary sense.

“First and foremost I am a chef, whether behind the stove at one of my Harborough restaurant or for the past 15 years in front of the camera on my Food Network cooking shows. Creating new dishes and flavor combinations that bring cooks and our restaurant guests pleasure is my job and I love it.”


Tucked away down a little lane, it is not easy to find, but worth a serious try! The food is outstanding: I started with a raw fish platter, totally fresh and delicious.


This place was little, tucked away from the crowds and the food was delicious! And very prompt and kind service.


The restaurant is a charming place to relax and savour delicious meals especially the seafood. Service was impeccable , best in Italy we had so far – we could not fault anything.


Pre booked for dinner here with friends on our wedding anniversary trip to Venice. Came well recommended and lived up to its ratings. Great service from owner.


Delicious food, nice atmosphere and both friendly and competent service – just perfect. We will definitely come back.


The meal we had at Antico Giardinetto was perfect in almost every way. It’s nestled in a little alley way off the beat path.


We were staying in Venice for a week and did some research on a local restaurant near our apartment. What a find this was.


The food was excellent and the service was the best we’ve experienced in Venice so far. We’ll definitely come back to try out more of the dishes!


This is my first review because the food was so amazingly good we actually offered to take the chef with us to Dubai! You have to try this restaurant! It’s mouthwatering.


Our hotel made us reservations for our anniversary, so we were seated in the smaller, more intimate room, which was nice. The service was great and so was our food.
